OFA "Good"

Smudge is quite accomplished for her young age. She most recently won the 2020 NVA Midwest Shooting Dog Championship and in 2018, won the NVA Quail Open Gun Dog Championship and took Runner Up to Kimber in the Amateur Gun Dog Stake at the same event at just three years old! She is an all natural bid dog! Smudge was also named Runner Up in The Midwest Vizsla Futurity 2016. Smudge 13 weeks old in the photo below. I don't normally leave puppy photos on the site after they are a year old. Smudge's style and staunchness at the wee young age is so remarkable, I had to leave it up. It shows so much attribute to her genetics and what we breed to add to the Vizsla breed. From the time Smudge was 4 weeks old we thought she was something special, always alert to us, the first little one to bounce to the whelping box door to see us but brave and bold out away from her litter spending time with us. Last minute circumstances allowed us to keep her when originally we had planned to keep a male. While most of our dogs are named related to guns or gunslingers of the west, we always called her "Smudge" she is small (32 lbs) and a 'Smudge' of a dog, a tiny spot of white on her head as her namesake "Smudge" and just as fast as lightening! Hence her name. She was meant to be with us and we have joy that we are lucky enough to have had her.
