Using Bullet as a stud to Ella, we chose to take a puppy rather than a fee. The idea was to take Bullet to a female that was as close as genetically as possible to Kimber since we had to spay her. When we went to see the litter and take our puppy we couldn’t decide between one particular male and one particular female (Citori) so we decided to take both and just buy the second puppy. Savage as sweet and as kind tempered as Kimber with the bird drive of his Father. Due to his age and uncooperative Mid Western weather, we didn’t have as much opportunity to run them in derby stakes as some of our other young dogs. We are breaking them out now and are looking forward to seeing them in gun dog stakes this fall.
